SHERRY TORBERT

Life is hard and full of setbacks, disappointments, broken relationships, trauma and grief. Sherry Torbert uses biblical principles to help you find freedom from what may be life-long struggles. She will help you recognize and understand patterns of difficulty in your life and identify wounds and roots of bitterness that are preventing you from fulfilling your God-given purpose. She helps you encounter Jesus in your place of pain.
Sherry is very transparent in sharing her own testimony of God’s healing power in her life of overcoming depression, fear, betrayal and physical illness. Her spiritual gifts of encouragement and wisdom make her a great motivational speaker for any audience.
Sherry’s experience of more than 30 years in ministry includes co-pastoring a church with her husband, Ron, serving as the Spiritual Care Coordinator of a mega-church in the Houston area, the Founder of Refreshing Spring Ministries and most recently, the Co-Founder, along with her husband, of Heart Revival Ministries, Inc. Sherry has been a speaker for international conferences, churches, and a television guest on Trinity Broadcasting Network. She has authored two inner healing studies: “Heart Matters: Discovering God’s Plan For Your Life” and an online course called “Passion for Purpose”. Her booklet “Scripture Prayers” has been a powerful tool for God’s people in doing spiritual warfare. Her most recent book is entitled “Seven Love Languages of the Holy Spirit.”
Sherry and her husband Ron have been married over 50 years. Together they lead marriage conferences and retreats and they offer in-depth pre-marital counseling and marriage coaching. They have two children and seven grandchildren.
